Riley Rich

A note from Riley

The body is a keeper of stories.

I guide individuals closer to their innate connection — mental, physical, energetic, spiritual — via 1:1 sessions and group journeys. I weave together various holistic and spiritual practices to take people on a journey through their mind, into their bodies, and back to their soul. The intention with my work is for each individual to experience peace and welcome the magic of this experience on earth.

I am a seeker and specialist in ancient knowledge and traditions. My interest in altered states of consciousness has spanned over a decade. Since dedicating myself to cultivating this knowledge, I have studied and practiced various lineages of healing including yoga therapy, Vedic traditions (kundalini and vinyasa yoga, pranayama, meditation, etc.), bodywork (1:1 stretching, fascia techniques), Mayan and shamanic medicine, sound healing, energy work, and herbal practice. My love for adventure has brought me around the world to experience different cultures and study with numerous teachers specializing in ancient knowledge systems.

I always come back to my love for nature and the wisdom it holds. My guiding philosophy is that healing the earth and healing the human is not and cannot be separated — in order to heal, we must both heal the earth and heal through her.

My diverse studies inform how I approach working with a client as a whole. I see the body as a keeper of stories and a vessel for our multidimensional experience — a reflection of the way we live, move, and feel through life. The body cannot be separated from the individual’s nervous system and internal storyline. I help the individual access their truth and reclaim the power each person has over their experience.

Within the session

What the work can hold.

Practices are synthesized into customized sessions for the individual or group intention to unlock elements of the body & consciousness.

Recovery bodywork

Fascial and PNF stretching, soft tissue work, active release, and cupping.

Sound healing

Crystal bowls, chimes, gong, and voice to settle and soothe.

Kundalini yoga

Movement, kriya, and mantra when activation is useful instead of stillness alone.

Breathwork

Direct work with the nervous system when stress, depletion, or activation is leading.

Meditation

Guided practice to cultivate single pointed focus.

Yoga

Posture (asana) to create stillness in the mind through body awareness.

Shruti box, chimes, and a tongue drum laid out on a rug in the studio.
The instruments

Sound as medicine.

Crystal bowls, gong, chimes, shruti box, and voice — the sound that closes nearly every session.

Voices

What people notice.

What clients notice in their body and mind after a session — in their own words.

The sound and breath really helped manage and work through the emotions on a level that I had not experienced before. A mixture of calm, unusual and magic.

I was new to breath work and sound when I was first introduced to Riley. The timing was perfect when I started the classes, as I had just experienced a great loss, and the sound and breath really helped manage and work through the emotions on a level that I had not experienced before.

The entire class is so helpful, no matter what state I am in, and the sound itself is amazing and unlike anything I had (or have) experienced. A mixture of calm, unusual and magic.

Riley is young, but there’s an old soul in the way she works: intuitive, unhurried, completely present. She has a natural gift for this.

I came to Riley the first time not entirely sure what I was walking into — sound bowls, bodywork, all of it was new to me. What I found was someone who simply knew what to do. Riley is young, but there’s an old soul in the way she works: intuitive, unhurried, completely present. She has a natural gift for this.

What struck me most is that she often knew what I needed before I did. I’ve arrived at sessions thinking I was fine, and left feeling like something had been quietly put back in place — mentally and physically. No two sessions have ever been the same. Each one had its own character, its own effect, and I always left surprised by something.

There’s a warmth to the space she creates that’s hard to put into words. Maternal, gentle, deeply safe. You don’t have to understand what she’s doing or believe anything in particular for it to work — you just have to show up. If you’ve been curious about sound healing but weren’t sure where to start, start with Riley.

Riley’s sound-baths are both a gateway to internal exploration and an excuse to let go of everything for an hour.

“Riley’s sound-baths are both a gateway to internal exploration and an excuse to let go of everything for an hour. They can be hands on, or hands off. You can slowly disappear into vibrational sound or address thoughts and feelings that have been weighing on you. In the best circumstances, you might even find little nuggets that you have been hiding from yourself. I have had several breakthroughs of the mind, body, and soul in Riley’s classes. I am so proud of my sister and cannot recommend them enough.”

I came in curious and stayed because it works. It’s not just sound, it’s artistry, and it pulls you into a state that’s hard to get to on your own.

I came in curious and stayed because it works. Riley has a real feel for the room. She reads the energy, holds it, and moves you through the session without ever forcing it. Her playing is the part people don’t expect. It’s not just sound, it’s artistry, and it pulls you into a state that’s hard to get to on your own.

What sold me is that it showed up outside the room too. I track everything on my Whoop, and sound healing has registered as a positive contributor to my recovery since I started logging it. The mental clarity afterward is the bigger win for me. I think clearer, I make better decisions, and I’m calmer through the week.

If you’re serious about recovery or you just need to slow the noise down, book with Riley.

For years, Riley has been the practitioner I keep returning to. Her sound work is skilled, intentional, and immersive, and her ability to weave different healing modalities together is rare.

I’ve known Riley for around five years and have worked with her in one form or another the whole time. I first met her through brief sound baths at the end of breathwork classes, and those quickly became my favorite part of the experience. From there I started attending her studio sound healings and later booked private sessions during the week.

As I went deeper into my own sound healing and yoga practice, Riley became my favorite practitioner. She is skilled across many instruments and has a rare ability to combine them in a way that genuinely takes you on a journey. It never feels like random noise. It feels intentional, grounded, and deeply supportive.

Over the years we’ve collaborated on sound baths, kambo ceremonies, yoga therapy workshops, and even photoshoots. She has an immense knowledge of the body and spirit, and a unique ability to bring it all together to help people feel better. I trust her implicitly in this realm and look forward to many more collaborations.

Andrea

I have gone to many of Riley’s classes and she is exceptional! Her stretches, sound healing and yoga classes are the best I’ve had. I highly recommend.
